 UPDATE COFFEE PRICE TODAY

Ending the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London delivered in May 2023 increased by 23 USD/ton at 2,087 USD/ton, delivered in July 2023 increased by 18 USD/ton at 2,072 USD/ton.

Meanwhile on the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee delivered in May 2023 increased by 1.9 cents/lb, at 178.5 cents/lb, delivered in July 2023 increased by 2.05 cents/lb, at 177 ,5 cents/lb.

In the first session of the week, the dollar fell, helping coffee regain its recovery at the end of the session.

In the US market, the US Dollar Index (DXY) which measures the volatility of the greenback with 6 major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF) continued to drop 0.40% to 103,31

The latest decision of the Federal Reserve on raising interest rates will be made tomorrow, March 21. Investors now expect interest rates to peak in May, at around 4.8%, followed by a steady stream of cuts later in the year.
