UPDATE COFFEE MARKET PRICE TODAY on May 22th, 2023 Ending last week's trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London delivered in July 2023 increased by 48 USD/ton at 2,588 USD/ton, delivered in September 2023 increased by 32 USD/ton at 2,530 USD/ton.Meanwhile on the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee delivered in July 2023 increased by 5.35 cents/lb, at 192 cents/lb, delivered in September 2023 increased by 5.05 cents/lb, at 189.3 cents/lb.Generally, last week, the London coffee market had 4 increasing sessions and 1 decreasing session. The price of Robusta coffee for spot delivery in July increased by all 156 USD, or 6.41 %.The New York market had 3 increasing sessions and 2 decreasing sessions. Coffee prices soared as the market feared a short-term supply shortage, with London Robusta coffee prices setting a new 12-year high.Besides, during the week, USDX increased by 1.5% in value, causing most commodity prices in general to rebound strongly.At dawn on May 22, the USD Index (DXY), which measures the volatility of the greenback with 6 major currencies stood at 103.19, up 0.50%.
